AgroCare appoints new president

Agro-Care, the global generic pesticide industry association, has recently appointed Mr. Sun Shubao, chairman of China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA), as the new president of the Agro-Care association.

Formed in Belgium in 2008, Agro-Care is composed of the European Crop Care Association (ECCA), Latin American Association of National Agrochemical Industries (ALINA), Pesticide Manufacturers and Formulators Association of India (PMFAI), and China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA).

Agro-Care represents the independent post-patent crop protection industry, supporting the generic agrochemical producers in playing a crucial role in offering solutions to face today's global food security challenges.
