Recently, China initiated a study program on high-risk pesticide adjuvant residues, which includes a nationwide research into the use of high-risk pesticide adjuvant in grain and vegetable plantations, as well as in the environment of production locations.
The implementation of the program will not only identify the pollution level of high-risk pesticide adjuvant in the relationship between the pesticide adjuvant dosage and the residue level, but will also establish China’s pesticide adjuvant classification standard and catalogue, in conjunction with the pesticide registration and market survey, as well as take into reference the pesticide adjuvant classification system of developed countries.
The program has been organized and carried out by the Agricultural Quality Standard and Testing Research Institute affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
