"Heavy-metal contaminated soil repairing agent"project invested in China

Chinese biopesticide company Chengdu Newsun Crop Science and Pujiang Shouan new town industrial park recently signed the investment agreement for the project of heavy-metal contaminated soil repairing agent (based in Pujiang Town, Sichuan ). According to the agreement, Newsun Crop Science plans to invest Yuan 129 million($ 21 million at the current exchange rate ) to build the production line of soil repairing agent “Ge Kang”, which could provide an annual capacity of 4500 tons after completion.
Soil contamination has affected the quality of our living environment, among which heavy-metal contamination management is now an important environmental issue confronted by the whole world due to its elusiveness, chronicity and irreversibility. “Ge Kang is a soil repairing agent as well as a soil nutrient. It is used for amendment of heavy metals (Cr, Cd, Pb, Hg, As ) in soil, pH-regulation, soil crumb structure recovery, natural organic matter supplement for soil and the bio-eco environment improvement , that will promote the development of organic and sustainable agriculture.” stated Mr. Qiming He, the president of Newsun Crop Science.
