The Stockton Group (STK) announced that their biofungicideTimorex Gold® has just been registered for use in Canada by the Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency(PMRA).Timorex Gold® now registered in Canada for use in the control of powdery mildew on greenhouse peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers, suppression of powdery mildew on grapes, strawberries, cucurbit vegetables, as well as for the suppression of late blight on greenhouse tomatoes. STK welcomes Canada to the group of more than 24 countries using Timorex Gold®in organic and conventional farming.
Timorex Gold® is a natural fungicide with multi-site mode of action providing effective sustainable crop protection control.
When incorporating this residue-free product regularly in disease control management as part of the conventional production, it enables the reduction of the residual chemical burden of synthetic fungicides, and is an effective tool in resistance management, making it an outstanding tool for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
