The Chinese agrochemical company Hebei Veyong Bio Chemical has recently been approved the registration of 250 g / L azoxystrobin SC, which was first registered for rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae) control.
Azoxystrobin is the strobilurin fungicide with broad-spectrum efficacy. It has been registered on more than 80 kinds of crops in 85 countries. In China, azoxystrobin has been approved to be of high field efficacy when applied on melons, fruits (Such as grapes,citrus, etc.), potatoes and other crops.
For the moment, the azoxystrobin formulations registered on rice in China include: 325g/L benzyl-azoxystrobin SC of Syngenta, for rice sheath blight and rice blast, 250 g / L azoxystrobin SC of Hailir for rice sheath bligh.
