Moews Seed announces release of 11 new corn hybrids for 2014

Moews Seed Company announces release of 11 new corn hybrids, including eight new base genetics, for the 2014 season. The new products include four new Genuity Smartstax and two new Genuity VT Double PRO, all of which will be available as Refuge in Bag (RIB). In addition, there will be two new Roundup Ready corn hybrids and three new conventional, non-GMO hybrids. The expanded lineup includes hybrids with maturities ranging from 100 day RM to 112 day RM, and represent superior genetics that perform with higher yield potential and excellent agronomics across differing environments.

2244 Conventional: 100 day RM non-GMO with high yield potential, a flex ear, exceptionally strong roots, and solid plant health agronomics.

2365GenSSR: 103 day RM Genuity Smartstax RIB Complete with consistent, girthy ear, strong stalk and roots and fast drydown.

2619GenSSR: 105 day RM Genuity Smartstax RIB Complete, semi-flex ear with excellent stalk and roots, excellent yielder of high test weight grain.

2676GenSSR: 106 day RM Genuity Smartstax RIB Complete with exceptional plant health, impressive yields and good standability. Also being released as a new Roundup Ready refuge hybrid.

3120 Conventional: 107 day RM non-GMO with exceptional emergence and early vigor, excellent yield and strong overall plant health.

3649VT2P: 111 day RM Genuity VT Double PRO RIB Complete, consistent top yielder with good stalks and roots and late season health.

3712 Conventional: 112 day RM non-GMO with outstanding yield, excellent early vigor and very good stalk and root ratings. Excellent under stress.

3743VT2P: 112 day RM Genuity VT Double PRO RIB Complete, with wide adaptability, high consistent yielder with good stress tolerance and late season intactness. Also available as a straight Roundup Ready refuge hybrid.

3729GenSSR: 112 day RM Genuity Smartstax RIB Complete, with high yield potential, stands up under stress with consistent ear size and fall intactness.
