A new strobilurin fungicide tricyclopyricarb approved in China

Recently the Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has granted the provisional registration approval for fungicide tricyclopyricarb 15% EW of Chinese agrochemical company, Jiangsu Baoling Chemcial for one year, which added a new product to tricyclopyricarb family of the company.  Baoling Chemcial has got the registration approvals for its 95% technical, 15% EC of tricyclopyricarb and the premix 15% SC (tricyclopyricarb+ tebuconazole).

Tricyclopyricarb is a new strobilurin fungicide developed by Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry(SYRICI), with a broad spectrum of activity, long-term plant disease control. Tricyclopyricarb can provide good activity against powder mildew of plants, especially cucumber,muskmelon and wheat, and it has no phyotoxicity on plants.

The series tricyclopyricarb products of Baoling Chemcial were registered for controlling rice false smut, rice blast, rice sheath blight, oil rape sclertiniose, wheat powdery mildew. Baoling Chemical is the only company which registered the product in China.
