Recently China’s listed state-owned enterprise -- Luxi Chemical Group signed an agreement on cooperation in fertilizer slow-release technology with Japanese Marubeni.Katakura.
“The cooperation paves the way for Luxi Chemical Group to develop novel fertilizers based on phosphate & compound fertilizers; it is a technical backup for our production of high quality slow-release fertilizer”, said Jiang Jitao, the Vice General Manager of Luxi Chemical Group.
Katakura’s fertilizer slow-release technology uses plants based alkyd resin as raw material with a special coating process to control the dissolving of nutrient in soil via regulation of membrane constituents such that the dissolving of nutrient matches the S-curve of crop production ; this enables dissolving to take place in pace with the required time and demand; the nutrient utilization rate can rise by 30% while coating is fully degraded, which makes it a world advanced and environment-friendly slow-release technology.
Luxi Chemical Group’s development of novel slow-release fertilizer is of a great significance, which not only helps to meet farmers’ demand for high-efficient fertilizer but also reduces the use of fertilizer and alleviates the environmental pollution.
