The pesticide residue laboratory (PRL) in National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (Neeri) has added a feather in Neeri cap by winning accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and being recognized as state-of-the-art laboratory.
"The NABL accreditation is an indication of the quality work in the PRL laboratory. This particular laboratory has been involved for long in various projects and testing facilities. In recent past we have brought in the state-of-the-art equipment and manpower required. It is a real achievement both for lab and the institute," said Neeri director Satish Wate. It would bring more value and credibility to the tests conducted by the lab and hence indirectly also bring more business, he said.
