INCOTEC strengthens its global R&D organization

Monique van Wordragen has been appointed manger of the International Technology Research (ITR), INCOTEC’s central R&D department, as from March 1st 2013. In this position she will focus on further strengthening INCOTEC’s innovation potential and maximizing the interface between central technology development and local departments for product development.

Monique has a Master’s degree in biology from the Rijks University Leiden and a PhD degree from Wageningen University. Until recently she was CEO of NSure, a company involved with the development of molecular test kits for quality control of products including vegetables and fruit.

INCOTEC sees excellent opportunities to make a significant contribution here, using seed technological applications. More knowledge of plant mechanisms and the interaction with other factors such as soil environment is imperative. We need new, more effective and more efficient seed technological solutions.
