FMC adds senior product and communications manager

FMC Corporation announces the hiring of David Davies as senior product manager and Anita Palmieri as communications manager for FMC Agricultural Products North America.

"Davies and Palmieri bring great knowledge and experience to the team and will support the growth of the FMC North American Crop business," said John Kasper FMC Agricultural Products North America director of marketing. "Their collective marketing expertise will move the team forward as we create value-added brands and services to fuel North American Crop growth."

Davies will be responsible for products within the FMC sunflower, tree fruit and nut markets. Prior to joining FMC, he worked for United Phosphorus, Inc., as a product manager. He has also worked for BASF and American Cyanamid. Davies obtained a master's degree in entomology from the University of Stellenbosch and a master's degree in business from the University of Cape Town.

Palmieri brings nearly 20 years of knowledge and experience in marketing and communications to FMC. Prior to joining FMC, Palmieri worked as an independent consultant for companies and organizations including the Sara Lee Corporation and the Philadelphia Education Fund. In addition, she served as the senior communications manager for Arkema, Inc. Palmieri obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts, business management and marketing from Villanova University. She also holds a degree in litigation management from the Institute of Paralegal Training.

Davies and Palmieri started with FMC on January 2.
