Veyong Bio-chemical pesticide sales up 9% in 2012

According to the financial report of Chinese company Hebei Veyong Bio-chemical, pesticides sales grew by 9.1% to RMB 614.6 million in 2012 ended December 31st and the profit increased by 16.3%. Sales of technical pesticides rose by 12.4% to RMB 227.0 million while pesticide formulations up by 7.2% to RMB 387.7 million.

Veyong Bio-chemical is engaged in pesticide, veterinary drug, energy and chemicals businesses. In the period, the company set up the project of glufosinate, azoxystrobin technicals, so as to improve the products structure.

Total sales of the company’s all sectors in 2012 rose by 1.5% to RMB 1,800 million and the profit boosted with an increase of 58% to RMB 42.2 million. For region, export of the company grew up by 16.2% to RMB 311.7 million while domestic business dipped by 2.64%.
