Evans Analytical Group Acquires Wildlife International

Evans Analytical Group (EAG), the world’s leading, fully integrated, independent laboratory network, providing high value expert analytical and testing services to a wide range of industries and end users, announced that it has acquired Wildlife International, Ltd. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Wildlife International has been a recognized leader for over 35 years serving the critical, higher-tier Ecotoxicology and Environmental Fate testing services market. Wildlife has established a premier reputation among clients and regulators around the globe by providing high quality and innovative testing services required to comply with environmental safety regulations. The testing conducted at Wildlife’s facilities is in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for its aquatic toxicology, avian toxicology, endocrine disruptor, histopathology support, plant/insect toxicology, environmental fate and biodegradation, and analytical chemistry analyses. Wildlife serves the regulatory requirements of the U.S. EPA / TSCA, U.S. FDA, EU Pesticide, REACH and Pharmaceutical Regulations, and Japanese governmental agencies. Wildlife performs tests to support the pesticide, industrial chemical, pharmaceutical and animal health industries with its highly skilled technical teams who have deep domain expertise to ensure quality studies are performed in collaboration with clients and regulatory agencies.

EAG is dedicated to being the pre-eminent global provider of Environmental and AgroSciences testing services and Wildlife enhances the earlier acquisitions of PTRL West and PTRL Europe, both of which are leaders in Analytical Chemistry and Residue Analysis, Environmental Fate and Metabolism testing for pesticides. The addition of Wildlife brings further skills in Environmental Fate and the addition of Ecotoxicology testing and a broader footprint which includes industrial chemicals, pharmaceutical and animal health testing services. EAG believes the addition of Wildlife offers customers a full suite of environmental testing services in our 3 locations: MD, CA, and Germany as a global services provider.

The ever-increasing pace of new regulations implemented to safeguard our food and environment around the world, the standardization of regulations globally, the intensifying public concerns over safety and the environmental impact of chemicals, and the overall reliance of key industry players to outsource their testing to well-established and certified labs all bodes well for the critical importance of the role which Wildlife fulfills. We are committed to continuing to invest in the business pursuant to the Company’s growth plans.
