The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve Nippon Soda’s fungicide cyflufenamid as a new active ingredient and the product Cyflamid® 50EW Fungicide which containing cyflufenamid for use on grapevines and cucurbits. The public comments on this decision will be closed on January 31st 2013.
Cyflufenamid is a fungicide which belongs to the amidoxime class. It is proposed for use as a protectant fungicide against powdery mildew in cucurbits and grapes. Cyflufenamid has obtained US registration approval this July.
