ECHA is seeking comments on new proposals for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) for three pesticide active ingredients: the plant growth regulator, carvone, the molluscicide, metaldehyde and the herbicide, dimethenamid-P. The public consultation will end on 7 December. The proposed harmonized classification and labeling for carvone are skin irritation and skin sensitization. And for metaldehyde are flammable solid, acute toxicity, specific target organ toxicity – repeated exposure and hazardous to the aquatic environment. The proposed CLH for dimethenamid-P are acute toxicity, skin sensitization and hazardous to the aquatic environment.
