AgroPages-FMC names new strategic business specialist-Agricultural news

FMC Corporation announces the promotion of Matt Rackerby as strategic business specialist for California. In his new position, Rackerby will divide his time between managing territory sales and building strategic partnerships with California agricultural market influencers.

"Matt will work throughout California supporting the efforts of our FMC sales teams and our channel partners by fostering relationships with large producers, independent consultants and packers, shippers and processors," said FMC Western Regional Business Manager Bob West.

"Matt's marketplace knowledge and ability to forge strong partnerships will allow us to further grow demand for our brand while continuing to provide best-in-class service to our industry channel partners."

A California Polytechnic State University graduate, Rackerby has been involved in agriculture his entire life. He worked with Zeneca Ag Products before joining FMC in 1994. For the past 18 years, Rackerby has worked closely with retailers, distributors, growers and the agriculture industry while representing FMC.

He has been honored with several awards including numerous Bell Ringers, multiple Master Sales Representative honors and the Sales Excellence Award.

Rackerby will continue to reside in Visalia, Calif., and started his new position on Aug. 1.
