China approved Shangyu Nutrichem’s herbicide S-metolachlor

ChinaThe Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals of the Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has formally approved Shangyu Nutrichem Co., Ltd.’s herbicide S-metolachlor (96% TC) recently. Shangyu Nutrichem now is the first domestic company who has got the formal registration approval for S-metolachlor TC. Except Shangyu Nutrichem, Syngenta (Switzerland) has received several registrations for S-metolachlor in China, including TC, 960g/L EC and a SC mixture with atrazine.
S-metolachlor is a pre-emergent, selective herbicide, which used for annual grass and broadleaf weed control in corn, soybean, peanuts, sugar beets, canola and cotton.
Shangyu Nutrichem Co., Ltd. was established in 2003, based in Shangyu Fine Chemical Park of Zhejiang province, it has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Nutrichem International Co.,Ltd. (Beijing) in 2007.
