The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve a new fungicide MBREX from BASF which containing the active ingredient fluxapyroxad for use on barley. The APVMA has invited comment for fluxapyroxad’s approval as a new active ingredient in January this year. The APVMA will accept public comment on this approval decision until September 12th. Last month, BASF received full EU registrations for fluxapyroxad with trademark Xemium.
