Chemtura responds to higher costs with higher prices

Crop protection product producer Chemtura Corp., has announced that due to inflation and increased raw materials costs, as well as higher energy and transportation prices, it will increase prices on some items effective for shipments after Sept. 15 or as contracts allow.
Additionally, the company will drop extended price protection.
