TSG Hires Pesticide Regulatory Specialist Abigail Downs

TSG is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Abigail Downs. As a pesticide registration specialist with several years of experience providing regulatory assistance and reviewing registration applications for pesticide products at EPA, Ms. Downs will be a regulatory consultant for federal affairs at TSG.

Ms. Downs has significant experience managing and assisting companies to obtain pesticide product registrations, develop regulatory strategies and advise clients on FIFRA-related issues. She has particular expertise assisting companies throughout the pesticide registration process, including label development, determining data requirements, coordinating testing activities, and compiling and submitting registration applications.

Ms. Downs has a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in environmental studies (policy management concentration) and history from Gettysburg College. Prior to TSG, she was an Environmental Protection Specialist at U.S. EPA where she was responsible for reviewing and managing over 200 pesticide applications in compliance with FIFRA and PRIA. Ms. Downs joined TSG on February 21, 2012, and works out of its Washington, DC office.
