Recently a joint chemical safety lab was unveiled in Shenyang as launched between Shengyang Sciencreat Chemicals Co.,Ltd, a member company of Sinochem Group and HEL Group based in UK.
"Study of reaction hazard and evaluation of process hazard are essential for work safety in chemical industry; it is as important as process research but in China still in an early stage”, the Project Principal, Professor Cheng Chunsheng of Sinochem told Agropages.
Since 2009 Shengyang Sciencreat Chemicals initiated its study of chemical reaction hazard and establishment of process hazard evaluation system; the company has filled up China’s gap in this system and its methodology.
Study of reaction hazard and evaluation of process hazard, via study of operability hazard, process hazard, iterative reaction hazard analysis and metal corrosion, aim to acquire accurate information on reaction hazard in a purpose to ascertain operability conditions required for work safety in chemical industry, which serves as a safeguard against chemical hazard and to enable optimized process.
The joint chemical safety lab launched between the 2 parties focuses on study of materials stability, reaction thermal hazard and runaway hazard, not only serving member companies within Sinochem Group, but also offering service to other pesticide industry players.
