BASF’s fungicide Opera approved for sugarcane in Brazil

Opera® fungicide (active ingredient: pyraclostrobin) from BASF has received registration for use on sugarcane in Brazil. BASF will market Opera under their Integrated Management System – AgCelence brand which in order to offer complete solutions for agriculture. BASF’s AgCelence Cana system proactively improves plant health, delivering benefits beyond disease control, including insecticide Regent 800 WG® (fipronil) and fungicides Comet ® (pyraclostrobin) and Opera ®. Opera was launch in 2003 for treating Asian soybean rust in Brazil.
