Valent, Nufarm expand strategic alliance in Canada

Valent Canada, Inc. announced that Nufarm Agriculture Inc. will become a distributor for Valent agricultural, horticultural, industrial vegetative management (IVM) and biorational product lines in Canada.

Under the agreement, Nufarm will distribute the following Valent products to Canadian farmers:

Valtera™, Chateau®, SureGuard™, BroadStar™ and Payload® Herbicides

Arena™ 50 WDG, Clutch™ 50 WDG Insecticides and DiPel® 2X DF, DiPel WP, Foray® 48BA and VectoBac® 600L Biological Insecticides

ReTain™, MaxCel®, Promalin®, Fascination® and ProGibb® Plant Growth Regulators

Presidio™ Fungicide
 
This development deepens the Valent-Nufarm partnership, which started in 2011 with Nufarm selling the well-known Valtera to Canadian growers looking for a solution to tough weeds. Todd Younghans, country manager for Valent Canada, said the two companies are committed to working together to provide retailers and growers with products they need to protect and enhance crops and outdoor spaces.

Engage Agro will continue to sell Velocity™ Herbicide. Plant Products will continue to sell Sumagic™ and Distance® Plant Growth Regulators.
