China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued its first batch of manufacturing permission of 2012. Three companies have received permission to produce 4 pesticides.
Ningxia Ruitai Technology was permitted for the fungicide, thiophanate-methyl of 8,000 tonnes/year ai facility, and fungicide, carbendazim of 5,000 tonnes/year ai facility.
Zhenjiang Runyu Biotechnology was permitted for the Empedobacter brevis bacterial biopesticide, 200 tonnes/year of ai facility, 3,000 tonnes/year of a suspension facility.
Anji Tongrui Biotechnology was permitted for an 80 tonnes/year facility for ai of the plant growth regulator, gibberellin.
All approved products are required to get the China ICAMA registration certificate and production licenses within 3 years after the permission of MIIT.
For the moment, there are 17 companies which have granted ICAMA registration for thiophanate-methyl ai and 19 companies for carbendazim ai, only one company for the ai of Empedobacter brevis.
