AgroPages-Lier Chemical to carry out forward exchange business-Agricultural news

Notice from the board of Lier Chemical that the company is about to carry out forward exchange business with the bank, in response to the fast changing exchange rate, which will bring possible exchange losses to the company. The business will start from the notice date to Dec.31, 2012.

The forward exchange business is only limited to the main exporting currency of the company, US dollars. The exchange rate of RMB against USD has increased by 4.5% from the beginning of the year to the end of third quarter of 2011.

Lier Chemical is the biggest manufacture of chloropyridine herbicide in China, most products are for exporting. The company sales of 2010 was 445 million (in RMB), ranking 45 among China Top 100 Pesticide Companies.
