China to fund 0.77 billion Yuan on pesticide innovations in its 12th five-year plan. Li Zhonghua from CRICC explained China’s future initiatives of pesticide innovations in AgroChemEx 2011 held in Shanghai last week.
During the next five year, China will develop 10 new crop protection chemicals and 15 new environmental friendly adjutants as well as 20 processing technologies for the ais and intermediates. Meanwhile, China is to build up systemsfor the bioactivity, safety, and ecology evaluations of pesticide.
0.22 billion Yuan of the funds will be allocated by the Central government and other 0.55 billion Yuan will be raised by local government and affiliated institutions.
