NK, Nidera, Golden Harvest launch high-tolerance hybrids in Brazil

The Syngenta seed brands – NK Sementes, Nidera, and Golden Harvest – announced several new releases during the Show Safra 2025 fair, held in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, which is one of the largest in Brazil. 

AgroPages was there and covered the new seeds announced by the brands at the event.

One of the highlights is the corn hybrid NK501 VIP3, which, according to NK Sementes, combines "high yield potential with stability, good tolerance to the stunt complex, and good quality, making it an excellent option for early planting with excellent leaf health."

Another major highlight is the NK507 VIP3 – a hybrid that "stands out for its productivity and stability, with good leaf health, a wide planting window, and excellent grain quality," the Syngenta seed brand stated.

"We also have the NK509 VIP3, known as a two-in-one hybrid, because it combines productivity and protection. Its main characteristics are: high productive performance, good tolerance to the stunt complex, more protection against foliar diseases, and a wide planting window with productive stability," the multinational added.

Nidera

The other major seed brand from Syngenta, Nidera, was also present at Show Safra 2025, "reaffirming its commitment to innovation, with a focus on the NS 7902 IPRO, a soybean variety with high productivity in the best environments."

"It has good plant architecture, multiple resistance to nematodes, and excellent grain quality. And the NS 7676 IPRO, a soybean variety that represents the union of productivity with stability for different environments and has a wide planting window," explains Nidera.

In corn, the highlights include the launch of the NS 99 VIP3, a hybrid with a high yield ceiling, excellent grain quality, good uniformity, and exceptional ear expansion capacity, according to the company.

The hybrid NS 89 VIP3 will also be presented at the event. "This is an innovation with high potential, productive stability, good stalk and root health, excellent leaf health, high grain weight, and low nematode reproduction factor. Additionally, the NS 79 VIP3, which stands out for its high productive performance and is ideal for the second crop season, will also be available," the Syngenta brand added.

Golden Harvest

Meanwhile, Golden Harvest presents the soybean varieties GH2473I2X, GH2478IPRO, and GH2483IPRO, which promise to "raise the standards of productivity and stability in the field." 

"The three varieties reflect the brand's commitment to meeting the demands of farmers with advanced technological solutions adapted to regional conditions," the brand, launched in Brazil three years ago by Syngenta, said in conclusion.
