To tackle the challenges of relentless pests and unpredictable climate shifts in growing corn throughout every season in Argentina, Nidera Semillas unveiled two groundbreaking hybrids designed to address these threats head-on at Expoagro 2025.

The brand's major launch is the NS 7765 VIPTERA3, a hybrid with excellent yield potential, surpassing the environmental index by 500 kg/ha in early sowing trials, 300 kg/ha in late sowing trials, and 200 kg/ha in trials conducted in the northern region of the country.

"These data, which we see when comparing our hybrids with more than 40 other hybrids, both ours and our competitors', in over 100 locations, confirm that we are dealing with a corn variety with great adaptability and versatility in all corn-producing regions of Argentina," says Leandro Ulrich, Product Development Manager at Nidera Semillas.

In response to the spiroplasma problem, Nidera presented the SS2223S VIPTERA3 tropical x temperate for late sowing. This hybrid results from a tropical line that provides, among other things, greater tolerance to spiroplasma and a temperate line that maintains its yield potential.

These launches complement the excellent NS 7624 VIPTERA3 CL, a hybrid designed for late planting dates, featuring the best available technology for insect and weed control. At Nidera's Expoagro site, all can be seen in tests of planting dates, densities, and management strategies.

Joaquín Lesser, Marketing Manager at Nidera Semillas, explained that producers expect yield and stability from their corn crops: "This goes hand in hand with good health and a technology package adapted to the environmental challenges presented by weeds and pests."

However, agronomic practice is increasingly important. The choice of hybrid goes hand in hand with knowledge of the environment and the implementation of appropriate management strategies, such as selecting the optimal planting date, density, and fertilization. And that is where we at Nidera have come a long way to contribute."

"It's not very common for a seed company to offer two new hybrids to producers in the same season," Lesser said. The new agricultural times have the exclusive challenge of maximum efficiency. As an official seed company, Nidera focused on cereals, sending an encouraging message to producers who wish to engage: "We know how, and we have what it takes."

"Nidera's contribution is always to offer the best cutting-edge genetics. To achieve this, we invest significant effort year after year in our research centers, which are complemented by a nationwide network of tests. This way, we obtain hybrids adaptable to all production regions, with great potential and stable yields, and key attributes necessary for weight gain, such as health and good performance in lifting and dismantling," Leandro Ulrich stated.

The focus is on the value of Nidera's digital tools, where the natural intelligence of materials and statistics from thousands of tests intersect with contributions from artificial intelligence. For what purpose? To simplify the producers' experience and help them make increasingly better decisions.

For example, "At Nidera, we have a line of work where we understand the real nitrogen need per ton of corn required to maximize yields in each of our hybrids. We apply this knowledge to our tools so that producers can make more efficient use of the nutrient, maximizing results," added the Product Development Manager at Nidera Semillas, citing just one of the variables that emerge from Nidera's digital tools.

Today, the service the company offers its customers is one of the brand's greatest strengths. Each producer receives, at no additional cost, a package of information and recommendations created by the digital tool, which is powered by artificial intelligence. Visitors to the Expoagro plot could take home a personalized recommendation generated by ASISTA, a tool that combines agronomic models and historical data to provide management strategies for each plot.
