Microgeo, a leader in soil microbiological management, has taken another significant step in its international expansion journey with the inauguration of another automated biostation in Paraguay.
The installation was carried out in partnership with Lar Paraguay, which has been operating in the country for 28 years and has been Microgeo's official distributor in Paraguay for over 10 years. The project consolidates the companies' commitment to sustainability in agribusiness and the strengthening of strategic alliances in South America.
Paraguay, emerging as a promising agricultural hub, combines fertile lands with a rapidly evolving agribusiness. In this context, Microgeo's expertise in sustainable biotechnology and soil microbiological management offers solutions that meet the demands of local producers.
"The inauguration of this biostation is a milestone not only for Microgeo but also for Paraguayan agribusiness, which has increasingly sought innovative solutions to maximize soil natural resources and productivity. We are proud to offer our technology at such a strategic time for the country's sector," highlighted Gustavo Carvalho Pinto, Microgeo's Commercial Manager for the region.
Partnership with Lar Paraguay
Lar Paraguay is a traditional company synonymous with excellence in the distribution of agricultural inputs and is a key partner for Microgeo in Paraguay. This alliance has enabled the delivery of high-standard technical solutions supported by a specialized team and the development of new technologies, such as the new Microgeo automated station, designed to facilitate operations and access for producers.
"This partnership goes beyond the distribution of products; it is a joint effort to transform agricultural practices. The arrival of the new biostation reinforces our commitment to providing Paraguayan producers with tools that sustainably promote productivity," said Cristhiano Mayer, commercial manager of Lar Paraguay.
The inauguration was marked by an event that brought together the technical and commercial teams of Microgeo and Lar Paraguay and a presentation of the entire operation and benefits of biotechnology. This reflected the commitment to bringing innovation and sustainability to different agricultural frontiers and ensuring producers' access to practical and effective solutions.
In addition, the project is an example of the integration between technology and local operations. "We believe that balanced soil is the basis for sustainable agriculture and, with the partnership with Lar, we are expanding our reach and strengthening our impact in the region," Pinto emphasized.
Microbiological management of soil as a fundamental pillar
The partnership with LAR Paraguay is so solid that Microgeo is among the only six brands included in the strategic program "Lar +5000 Azul". This program promotes agricultural management that combines high productivity with reduced costs per kg/ha, offering differentiated services based on five strategic pillars. These pillars are aerial and ground application technology, nutrition and management awareness, biological management and soil restructuring, soil correction, and TSI-certified seeds and co-inoculation.
With the new biostation, Microgeo and LAR Paraguay have reaffirmed their role as protagonists in promoting agricultural practices that combine productivity with environmental preservation. The inauguration is more than just a market expansion; it is a direct contribution to the future of agribusiness in Paraguay and throughout South America.
