EuroChem completes exit from EuroChem Migao Limited

EuroChem Group AG (hereafter ″EuroChem″ or the ″Group″), a leading global fertilizer company, announces the successful completion of the sale of its entire 50% interests in EuroChem Migao Limited, a Hong Kong company with fertilizer production and distribution operations in China to a prospective purchaser on 31 December 2024.

EuroChem Migao Limited, a joint venture (hereafter the ″Joint Venture″) with H.K. Migao Industry Limited (hereafter ″Migao″), was initially formed over a decade ago. Its main business activities are the production and sale of fertilizers and related chemical products in China. The sale marks the Group’s exit from the Joint Venture, after which the Group will no longer hold any interest in EuroChem Migao Limited.

The decision to exit the Joint Venture is the result of a careful evaluation by the Group and aligns with the EuroChem’s long-term growth strategy and focus on its key production assets and markets.

The Group recognizes the contributions made by Migao during the term of the Joint Venture and acknowledges the significant growth and achievements accomplished together. EuroChem expresses its gratitude for many years of cooperation, and to its dedicated employees for helping the Group to enhance its presence in China.

Going forward, EuroChem will continue to explore future opportunities in China’s growth markets, introducing a broader range of advanced products and strengthening its relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders. EuroChem retains all trade-marks and IP rights registered under its name in China and will continue supply its products to the customers after the transaction.
