Agroallianz, a crop protection products brand launched in 2023 by the German DVA Group, plans to introduce 16 new technologies over the next four years.

With 28 products already in the Brazilian market, the company expects to have 44 solutions, including fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, and special solutions for different crops, by 2028.

Aiming to establish itself as a key player in the Brazilian agrochemical market, DVA Group projects an annual revenue of US$100 million in Brazil by 2026. To achieve this, the plan involves expanding operations in key crops such as soybeans, corn, sugarcane, and cotton, seeking to cover most producers' needs in these areas.

Research and Development (R&D) is one of Agroallianz's pillars. Since 2017, a team has been working on registrations and crop protection research, resulting in a competitive portfolio. Beyond agricultural pesticides, the company invests in biostimulant technologies, adjuvants, and biological products, focusing on sustainability and exploring plants' genetic potential.

"Sustainability is at the core of our operation. It's not just about developing innovative products but creating solutions that are economically viable and environmentally responsible. The goal is to help the sector increase productivity sustainably," noted João Aleixo, Global CEO of DVA Agro and Chairman of AgroAllianz's board.

The executive reinforced plans for upcoming seasons: "Our commitment to research and development isn't just an innovation promise but a strategy to keep the company at the market's forefront. Note that DVA Group, internationally recognized with over 1,200 global crop protection registrations, reinvests about 4% of its revenue in R&D," he said.

In its first year of operations in Brazil, Agroallianz claimed its business model had proven an "efficient response" to national agrochemical market challenges. "We are just beginning, but we have already shown it is possible to grow sustainably, offering rural producers not just quality solutions but also reliability and innovation," Aleixo said.

In its first operational year, the DVA Group company achieved results three times higher than expected in an exclusive relationship and sales business model. Agroallianz emphasized all this was during a period marked by financial challenges, such as distribution channels' Judicial Recovery processes and supplier delivery delays, besides climatic adversities. The brand highlights its success in on-time deliveries at competitive costs, achieving revenue above estimates.

João Aleixo recalled that the company entered the market with 22 products but expanded this number throughout its first year by developing six more products in direct collaboration with producers. "The focus has been on solving specific pain points and ensuring greater profitability in the field," he reported.

"We are in a solid construction process, with realistic goals and a clear focus on long-term business sustainability. The operation model's success is already evident, with results almost three times higher than predicted. Moreover, we've managed to generate new solutions, delivering real value," stated DVA Agro's Global CEO and AgroAllianz's Board Chairman.

The company claimed its primary differential is market access, which is closer to rural producers. One of the first developments was the joint venture formed with Coopercitrus, one of Brazil's most significant agricultural cooperatives. According to them, the alliance allowed more than 42,000 cooperative rural producers to also participate in the input industry.

Thus, unlike many companies that exclusively depend on the distribution chain, AgroAllianz adopted a hybrid approach, allowing greater agility in product delivery and closer customer service. "This strategy allowed us to stand out even in a year of sector instability while other brands face difficulties meeting their commitments," the executive concluded.
