Thesis BV intends to acquire the ‘Agro Science’ companies from the Wesemael Group

Thesis BV From Westmaas Intends To Acquire The 'Agro Science' Companies AgroBuren BV, R. Van Wesemael BV And WPA-Robertus Zeker & Vast BV From The Wesemael Group With Retroactive Effect As Of January 1, 2024. After Approval By The ACM (Consumer & Markets Authority), These Companies Will Continue To Function As Independent Entities With Their Own Names Under Thesis. The 'Plant Support', 'Automotive' And 'Investments' Companies Under The Wesemael Group Are Not Part Of The Transaction. Thesis Currently Includes The Companies Van Iperen BV, Van Iperen International BV, Transterminal Dordrecht BV And Euroliquids BV.

Both Thesis and Wesemael 'Agro Science' play an important role in advising and supplying products for nourishing, strengthening and protecting the crops of their customers in the agricultural sector. In addition, they are family businesses with committed and skilled employees. In terms of geographical coverage, the Wesemael 'Agro Science' companies and the Thesis organization complement each other well. Wesemael 'Agro Science' has locations in Apeldoorn, Biddinghuizen, Dedemsvaart, Hulst, Opheusden, Schagerbrug, Tiel, Warffum, Westerbork and Winschoten. The Wesemael 'Agro Science' companies currently employ approximately 100 employees.

This acquisition offers opportunities for further cooperation between the companies involved and gives employees new opportunities to develop. Investments in research, knowledge and technology in, for example, precision agriculture and fertigation will be accessible to the customers of all companies involved in the transaction.
