Jingbo Agrochem plans newbuild of annual 2,000-ton pyroxasulfone TC plant with supporting facilities

Recently, the EIA of the annual 2,000-ton pyroxasulfone including supporting facilities as launched by Shandong Jingbo Agrochem was announced on the company website.

In order to meet the market demand and promote application of novel pesticide varieties, Shandong Jingbo Agrochem is planning an investment of roughly RMB562.5632 million yuan in newbuild of an annual 2,000-ton pyroxasulfone TC plant with supporting facilities. The project is located in the Economic Development Zone of Boxing County, Shandong Province, having been endorsed by relevant government department of Shandong Province. 

The planned period of construction of the project will be October 2025 to December 2026, with a designed capacity of 2,000 tons of pyroxasulfone per year, which will produce annually 2,000 tons of pyroxasulfone after the completion of the project. In the meantime, the project also encompasses other four components, covering indoxacarb, boscalid, flufenacet and chloroinconazide.

Founded in 2011, the business scope of Shandong Jingbo Agrochem covers pesticide technical, formulations, plant nutrition, flexible packaging and overall agricultural service. The business operation of the company integrates pesticide synthesis, formulation, marketing, research and development, focusing on ″shaping a manufacturing base featuring environment-friendly pesticides, pharmaceutical crudes and chemical intermediates.″ The company produces more than a dozen technical materials and 40-plus formulation varieties across the three major pesticides - herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
