Syngenta Canada Inc. adds Axial® Maxx cereals herbicide to its spring wheat and barley portfolio for post-emergence grass and broadleaf weed control.
Axial Maxx has four active ingredients in Pinoxaden (Group 1), Fluroxypyr (Group 4), Bromoxynil (Group 6), and the unique Group 27 mode of action in bicyclopyrone to help guard against weed resistance issues.
With its wide application window, from two-leaf through to six-leaf three-tiller, and efficient cross-spectrum control, cereal growers will see visible results against grass and broadleaf weed after one pass.
Axial Maxx will be available to row crop growers in Western Canada for the 2025 growing season, and will be sold as a co-pack of Axial Maxx A and Axial Maxx B. A case will treat 20 acres, and a bulk co-pack will treat 160 acres. Axial Maxx is included in the Syngenta Partner Program™ where growers can earn up to 15.5% rewards on eligible Axial Maxx purchases.
