Brazilian company Agrichem has announced to AgroPages the launch of two new nutritional technologies: Reforce Ultra and Concentrat GC.
According to the manufacturer, these solutions "promise to revolutionize nutritional management in crops" following the company's line of exclusively concentrated suspension formulations, an Agrichem specialty.
The innovations were first presented to some of the country's leading redistributors during a meeting held at the company's headquarters in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state, Brazil.
One of Agrichem's major innovation highlights of the year, Reforce Ultra, is a highly concentrated liquid fertilizer featuring a novel copper-based concentrated suspension formulation, along with a triple mode of action that strengthens plants' natural defenses.
According to Daniel Sousa, Agrichem's Portfolio Manager, besides activating the plant defense system through an elicitor, it acts directly on plants and provides nutritional benefits due to the presence of copper, which is essential for healthy crop development.
"We dedicated five years to product development, with over 30 trials conducted in partnership with research institutions. During these tests, the product showed impressive results, such as an average increase of up to 3 bags per hectare compared to areas that didn't use the technology," Sousa said.
Beyond its nutritional function, Reforce Ultra has also "proven to be a powerful tool when combined with fungicides, contributing to greater crop health. This combination not only reduces defoliation but also provides a synergistic effect with chemical management, resulting in even higher productivity," says Agrichem.
"Reforce Ultra brings to the market a truly innovative, Agrichem-exclusive technology with high performance and solid field results. It is an efficient solution for crops such as soybeans, beans, corn, wheat, barley, and coffee, promoting plant strengthening and ensuring greater resistance to biotic stress while increasing crop productivity," highlights the specialist.
The second launch, Concentrat GC, enters the market as "the fertilizer with the most complete nutrient package currently available in the country," according to the manufacturer. Its concentrated suspension formulation, with ultra-micronized particles, offers boron, copper, manganese, zinc, molybdenum, and magnesium with gradual and safe release.
"Concentrat GC's major differential is its practicality. In a single application, farmers can efficiently provide all these nutrients with long-lasting effects, high fluidity, and excellent compatibility with other mixtures," explains Sousa.
Concentrat GC's value proposition lies in its efficiency in areas requiring essential nutrient replenishment and magnesium activation capability, both through foliar and soil applications. Besides its high technology, the product offers a low salt index, reducing phytotoxicity risks and providing greater security for farmers.
Daniel Sousa also noted that Agrichem has more than 15 other new products under development. "And one of them should reach the market in the second half of 2024," he revealed.
Agrichem has been investing heavily in research and innovation. These launches reaffirm its leadership position in developing innovative solutions that contribute to strengthening Brazilian crops and maximizing agricultural productivity," he said in conclusion.
