Rovensa Next obtains key product registrations in Colombia and Peru, expanding its biosolutions portfolio

Rovensa Next, a global leader in sustainable agriculture and biosolutions, announced three significant achievements in Colombia and Perú. The company has successfully registered Naturdai Mim^®, a plant extract biofungicide, Santem^®, a pyrethrin-based bioinsecticide, and Kuneka^®, a Karanja oil and Neem extract bioinsecticide-acaricide. These registrations underscore Rovensa Next’s commitment to innovation in organic agriculture and further strengthen its regional biosolutions portfolio. 

Naturdai Mim^®: Biofungicide for banana and avocado trees 

Rovensa Next registered Naturdai Mim^® as a plant extract-based biological pesticide for agricultural use with registration number 13722. This product is authorized explicitly for banana and avocado trees, key crops in Colombia with significant growth and high yields. Naturdai Mim^® is a root biofungicide that effectively controls fungal attacks causing root rot (Phytophthora cinnamomi), a common issue exacerbated by heavy rains, such as those caused by the El Niño phenomenon. 

With its active ingredient derived from Mimosa tenuiflora extract, Naturdai Mim^® offers preventive and curative effects. Its systemic mode of action targets fungi’s reproductive structures, inhibiting spore development, enzyme denaturation, and membrane rupture, ultimately suppressing fungal growth. 

Certified by CAAE and OMRI, Naturdai Mim^® meets the stringent organic and integrated production requirements. When used as directed, it leaves no synthetic residues and poses no phytotoxicity risks, allowing for safe and effective use across multiple application cycles per season. 

Santem^®: Innovative pyrethrin-based Bioinsecticide 

Rovensa Next also secured the registration of Santem^®. This pyrethrin-based bioinsecticide combines different pyrethrin extracts to achieve maximum efficacy. This 100% organic insecticide is registered to address the needs of growers combating pests such as thrips and aphids, especially in crops like banana, lemon, or orange. 

Derived from the flowers of Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium, Santem^® works through contact and ingestion. Once inside the insect, the pyrethrins disrupt its nervous system, resulting in a ″knock-down″ effect. Additionally, Santem^® leaves no residues and does not induce resistance or phytotoxicity, offering a safe and reliable solution for sustainable pest management. 

Kuneka^®: Bioinsecticide-acaricide for avocado, mandarin, and grape in Perú 

Rovensa Next has also obtained the registration for Kuneka^® in Perú. This bioinsecticide-acaricide, formulated with Karanja oil and Neem extract, is specifically registered for use on avocado, mandarin, and grape. Kuneka^® provides an effective solution for managing various insect pests, ensuring healthy crop yields, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
