Scheffer and Andermatt Brasil have announced a global agreement for the local production of bio-inputs at Scheffer’s factory in Sapezal. The product to be manufactured will be Phosbac®, a high-quality bio-input developed by ABiTEP. This initiative will reduce delivery times, ensuring greater agility and efficiency for Brazilian producers.
This collaboration leverages ABiTEP’s expertise in microbial technology to bring Phosbac® to Brazilian farmers more efficiently, reducing delivery times and ensuring greater agility for Brazilian producers. The partnership reflects strong mutual trust between the two companies, based on shared values of sustainability and innovation. Both are family-owned companies with founders and partners directly involved in the sustainable development and growth of their businesses. In addition, the collaboration reinforces Scheffer’s commitment to continue investing in cutting-edge technologies that complement its existing biological solutions.
″The partnership with Andermatt brings a new perspective to biological production at Scheffer, complementing existing technologies with new ones that extend the shelf life of biological solutions,″ said Arthur Almeida, Head of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at Scheffer.
With the local production of Phosbac®, the partnership expands market opportunities and increases the capacity to meet the demands of Brazilian farmers. Production at Scheffer’s factory ensures that product maintains the same high-quality standards established at ABiTEP’s labs in Germany while allowing Andermatt Brasil to expand its offering of innovative biological solutions more quickly and competitively.
Carlos Gajardoni, CEO of Andermatt Brasil, emphasizes: ″Our collaboration represents a consistent alignment of purposes. Both companies have a family history and a long-term vision. Doing business with those you feel good with is fundamental; it’s not just about financial results, but the satisfaction of working with trust. The production we will have in Brazil will follow the standards established in Germany and Switzerland, validated by the Scheffer team, a reference in large-scale regenerative agriculture.″
This partnership not only strengthens our commitment to innovation but also allows us to provide more accessible and efficient biological solutions to local producers. We hope this collaboration will be long-lasting and fruitful, bringing significant benefits to both companies and, most importantly, to farmers,″ concludes Gajardoni.
