Mosaic, one of the world’s largest producers of combined phosphates and potassium, is joining Cargill’s recently launched ReSolu program to encourage farmers to invest in soil health and achieve maximum efficiency and productivity from planting to harvest.

The ReSolu platform will provide farmers with a complete solution, with access to agricultural practices to accelerate and scale regenerative agriculture in Brazil. These include specialized technical assistance, a technological package of inputs, and exclusive financial tools.

Rural producers who participate in ReSolu will have access to a portfolio of Mosaic products that stand out for their technology and innovation and increase productivity in crops such as wheat, corn, sugarcane, soybeans and cotton.

″Cargill works side by side with rural producers to produce food in an increasingly sustainable way while at the same time increasing their profitability and resilience. ReSolu promotes regenerative agriculture solutions and practices for better use of natural resources and inputs, generating healthy soils for the next generation,″ said Ingrid Graziano, Sustainability Products Leader at Cargill.

The big news is the products that make up the portfolio of Mosaic Biosciences Brasil, the company's biological product line launched in the country in the first quarter. It offers the most innovative products in plant nutrition and soil quality for the entire agricultural market. These solutions focus on bionutrition, including inoculants, biostimulants, and biofertilizers, which activate the potential between soil, plants, and microbiome to improve soil health and crop productivity.

Four solutions are currently available to farmers: MBio Hidro®, which protects crops against water and heat stress, promoting more tolerant plants, and MBio Brad®, MBio Azo®, and MBio Phos®, focused on increasing the efficiency of nutrient use, acting on greater availability of nitrogen and phosphorus for plants, maximizing growth and promoting a more resilient production system.

For Christian Pereira, Mosaic’s marketing director, the partnership will significantly benefit producers and Brazilian agriculture. ″These are two large, internationally recognized companies that share the same goal of feeding the world without compromising on their commitment to more sustainable agricultural practices, respect for the environment, and the customer as the center of their business. Mosaic is joining the ReSolu program to go further, be more available, and make farmers’ work easier. This is a very important partnership for us and highly relevant in the agricultural scenario,″ Christian explained.

In addition to the organic portfolio, farmers can access three other Mosaic products on the platform. One of them is MicroEssentials®,  with patented Fusion® technology, which stands out for its presence of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur in a single granule, the latter in two forms, ensuring immediate and gradual release of the nutrient, which promotes nutrition throughout the plant's cycle. It increases the efficiency of nutrient absorption in the early stages of cultivation, taking the crop to its maximum production potential.

Another solution available is Aspire®, which combines two forms of boron and potassium (B + B + K) in a single granule. Its technology combines two forms of release: immediate and gradual, in which one of the forms of boron is readily available to the plant, while the other is gradually released during crop development, resulting in greater production capacity.

Excellen® is a more stable, highly concentrated, and efficient nitrogen source than conventional sources. A concentrated and stabilized product with urease inhibitor (NBPT), reducing nitrogen losses through volatilization. Scientific research on corn and cotton crops has proven the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with the application of Excellen – which fits perfectly with the purpose of the ReSolu platform.
