Marolda has been with Advanta Seeds for almost ten years, joining as the Global Strategic Marketing and Excellence Manager and advancing to his recent global Commercial and Technology Development Director role.

Marolda's leadership is driven by a strong understanding of farmers' needs, knowledge of technology, and a passion for sustainable agriculture. Marolda has 25 years of experience in agriculture, sales and marketing, and technology development, focusing on the go-to-market strategy gained from Monsanto and Advanta Seeds. At the company, Marolda promotes cultural diversity, encourages colleagues to share their traditions, and, as an Argentinean ambassador, enjoys sharing mate with anyone open to it.

Marolda's dedication to environmental conservation and resource management is not just a professional commitment but a personal one. His ethos aligns perfectly with Advanta Seeds' mission and values, as he is deeply committed to improving the quality of life and advocating for the responsible use of resources.

'Agriculture and sustainability are naturally connected. From the first settlements of humans who started cultivating and growing crops for food security and support for smallholder farmers, technology has improved efficiency and produced more from the same land. I strongly believe in improving crop yields and productivity, seeking to minimize environmental impact.

Advanta has many opportunities for growth with its well-diversified portfolio and go-to-market strategy. The vast portfolio of vegetables and field crops like tropical corn, sorghum, canola, and sunflower allows Advanta to differentiate itself in market strategy. Another excellent opportunity for Advanta is new technologies in climate-smart crops, such as igrowth® in sorghum. Since its launch in the Americas and Australia, the technology has been well-adopted in the market, driven by the value perceived by growers. Igrowth gives an excellent opportunity to increase the sorghum acreage and promote this sustainable and climate-smart crop’.
