Aapresid Agtech Space highlights future of agriculture in Argentina

The future of Argentine agriculture was in focus at the Aapresid Agtech Space, which showcased young companies developing disruptive technologies.

A vital feature of the Aapresid Congress 2024 was the promotion of Innventure, a federal investment fund created by producers and agricultural companies, which emerged from Aapresid (the Argentine Association of No-Till Farmers).

In a 180-square-meter stand, the 20 best startups from Argentina with validated technologies were featured, all expanding internationally.

Some of these startups include:

- Ucropit: Provides accessible and transparent traceability to connect companies with farmers committed to good practices.

- DeepAgro: Utilizes artificial intelligence to save up to 90% of herbicides in selective applications, even within crops.

- Silo Real: Offers monitoring and digitization of stored grains, enabling access to new business opportunities and financial alternatives.

- Calice: AI and data science software to obtain the best crop varieties, saving time and costs.

- ZoomAgri: Provides grain analysis using AI, at a lower cost and within minutes.

- Sensify: Enables traceability and remote monitoring of the food cold chain.

- Vistaguay: Combines satellite data, drones, and certified inspections to monitor crop development in real-time.

- Tracestory: A digital registry that enables end-to-end traceability for any production chain.

- Infira: Biotechnology capable of transforming annual crops into perennials.

- Eiwa: Uses AI to store and process large volumes of data into valuable insights for producers and companies.

- Agropro: An agricultural management platform with campaign planning, work orders, prescriptions, and economic variables.

- Biovita: Produces organic liquid fertilizers and biostimulants to protect crops from abiotic stress.

- Nat4Bio: Develops biopolymers that can extend the post-harvest life of fruits, reducing waste.

- Drone Scope: Provides technology for visualizing, analyzing, and making decisions about crops using drone images, panoramic views, and Sentinel satellites.

- Agrobit: An intelligent agriculture and livestock platform combining finance, strategic planning, and new technologies.

Additionally, Innventure organized the Agtech Contest, where 10 agtech startups presented their innovative solutions in a Demo Day format at one of the panels of the Aapresid Congress.

Finally, the Aapresid Congress 2024 team organized eight panels focused on Agtech and Digitalization, featuring various companies, startups, organizations, and national and international experts in agricultural innovation.
