The Brazilian company BRQ Brasilquímica announced exclusively to AgroPages, the launch of the Asperse foliar adjuvant.
According to the manufacturer, this agricultural solution is ″premium, of superior quality, and now part of the QualyAplic line.″
The Asperse foliar adjuvant has spreading, wetting, and drift-reducing effects in agrochemical sprays. The Brazilian company stated that these characteristics are crucial, especially concerning the use of fungicides. As BRQ Brasilquímica explains, this is because uniform pesticide deposition on leaves is necessary to achieve more efficient disease control, according to Bernardo Borges, technical manager at BRQ Brasilquímica and post-doctorate in agronomy from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
BRQ Brasilquímica detailed that the Asperse foliar adjuvant is made from raw materials (nutrients and additives) with "proven effects." They claimed this provides ″better efficiency to the products used in the spray mixture on various agricultural crops,″ such as soybeans, corn, cotton, coffee, fruits, and vegetables.
Marcelo Fernandes, Chairman of BRQ, asserted that BRQ Brasilquímica is ″committed to Brazilian farmers and the success of their production, both in qualitative and volume terms.″
″In this regard, our newest adjuvant, added to the spray mixture, has an exclusive and differentiated formulation that increases the efficacy of agricultural pesticides. By optimizing applications, we help enhance the results of agricultural crops,″ he stated.
Bernardo Borges also emphasized that the Asperse foliar adjuvant is synonymous with sustainable agriculture. ″With optimized use, we avoid increasing the dose of agricultural pesticides – which translates into reduced production costs,″ the expert said.
″The superior quality of the adjuvant reduces drift (when the product is carried to undesired areas by wind or water), preventing potential environmental damage, benefiting nearby crops sensitive to certain active ingredients, and even favoring the presence of pollinators, such as bees,″ the BRQ Brasilquímica specialist said in conclusion.
