On July 18-19, 2024, the 8th China Pesticide Exporting Workshop (CPEW) was grandly held in Hangzhou. This event, which brought together over 600 delegates from 26 countries, provided an important platform for exchange in the global agrochemical industry. Against the backdrop of increasing global economic uncertainty and cyclical fluctuations in the agrochemical industry, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on how China's pesticide industry can reshape its international image and tap into its innovative potential to enhance adaptability and resilience to market fluctuations. 


In this workshop, 25 distinguished speakers from China and abroad led profound discussions on 23 thought-provoking presentations, delving into 7 cutting-edge topics that are shaping the industry.

The CPEW conference emphasized innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development in addressing industry challenges, providing valuable insights for the internationalization of Chinese pesticide enterprises.


Notably, the conference explored key international markets. Ukraine's agriculture showed resilience despite challenges, while Africa, especially sub-Saharan regions, demonstrated potential for agricultural development. The Brazilian market, though competitive, offered opportunities, with discussions on its barter trade model and market entry strategies. For the EU market, participants focused on developing green pesticide products to meet stringent regulations.


Through these discussions, delegates explored opportunities in international markets, injecting new momentum into the industry's future. This event showcased the strength of China's pesticide industry and built bridges for global cooperation, guiding Chinese enterprises in navigating complex international markets.
