Yuelian's fluxapyroxad innovative nano-microemulsion Jianmeiling® is launched

In June 2024, Shanghai Yuelian’s Fluxapyroxad 7.5% + Propiconazol 15% ME was granted registration by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The product is registered for control of banana leaf spot, being effective against diseases caused by higher fungi like mycosphaerella fijiensis. To date, Shanghai Yuelian has branded the product as Jianmeiling, which will be launched to the domestic market.

One of the active ingredients of Jianmeiling is fluxapyroxad, which is still within its period of patent protection. This compound is the No. 1 valued variety among the SDHI fungicide products. Fluxapyroxad is of unique structure - 1-fluoro-3-phenylbenzene, which can exhibit different spatial conformation at lipophilic or hydrophilic interfaces, such that the productcan quickly pass through the multilayer biofilm barrier to reach the succinodehydrogenase site of action. At the same time, fluxapyroxad has the function of plant health, although not as evident as pyraclostrobin, it can significantly promote plant photosynthesis, to the benefit of plant growth. In terms of application, fluxapyroxad has a very broad fungicidal spectrum, being effective for control of various crop diseases caused by fungi such as Septoria citri Pass, Botrytis cinerea, powdery mildew, Cercospora, Puccinia, rhizoctonia and Pyrenophora.

Another active ingredient of Jianmeiling is propiconazole, which is a typical triazole fungicide. Its long-lasting effect is the major labeling of this compound, which is highly active against leaf spot diseases while being effective for control of powdery mildew and others. Even if spraying is uneven, the product can be evenly distributed in the leaf tissue of crops to reach an ideal effect of control.

Jianmeiling is the only nano microemulsion product among the fluxapyroxad formulations, with the following differentiated advantages versus competitors’ products:
