Known as the Granary of Europe, although Ukraine has been affected by the war in recent years, it still shows its dynamic development prospect with an inherent resilience and the favorable climatic conditions.

  • Ukrainian crop protection market sales reached $902 million in 2021, ranking 14th in the world (IHS MARKIT).

  • The pesticide market is extremely diverse, where some highly toxic pesticides which are banned and restricted in other countries are still used in Ukraine, also with sales of large varieties of pesticide mixtures.

  • Novel pesticides of multinational companies have a place in the Ukrainian market; some products sold here are not even sold yet in other countries.

Although the war that broke out in February 2022 initially caused certain chaos, Ukraine’s agriculture, as a pillar industry of the country, is still developing in an orderly manner. The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture expected the country’s grain output to reach 56 million tons in 2024, including 21 million tons of wheat, 28.5 million tons of corn and 5 million tons of barley.

Opportunities and challenges coexist. Wheat and sunflowers in Ukraine are great, but the modern agriculture in Ukraine contains more possibilities for the future. Do you wish to know more about the latest dynamics of Ukrainian agriculture? Are you ready to participate in exploration and development of the potentials of the Ukrainian agriculture?

Exciting news!
