Zhongshan Chemical to construct annual 10,000-ton chlorantraniliprole intermediates project

A few days ago, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Chinese agrochemical company Inner Mongolia Zhonggao Chemical's annual 10,000-ton chlorantraniliprole intermediates project was announced for public comment.  

The project is within the plant area of Inner Mongolia Zhonggao Chemical, Bayin Aobao Industrial Park, Alxa High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Inner Mongolia. With a total investment of RMB250 million yuan, the project construction will be between June 2024 and May 2025. 

The project scope, including annual 10,000 tons of the chlorantraniliprole intermediates, will be completed in two phases. The first phase covers annual 3,000-ton chlorantraniliprole intermediates and by-products, and the second phase covers the annual 7,000-ton chlorantraniliprole intermediates and by-products.

With a registered capital of RMB120 million yuan, located in Bayin Aobao Industrial Park, Alxa High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Inner Mongolia, Inner Mongolia Zhonggao Chemical Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Zhongshan Chemical Group Co., Ltd, engaged in production and marketing of pesticides, chemical products, and raw materials.
