This strategic expansion represents a significant milestone for Thanos as it strives to revolutionise agricultural practices with cutting-edge drone technologies.

The facility underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to meeting the evolving needs of farmers across India. With an initial annual production capacity of 3000 drones, the facility is poised for further scalability to meet the growing market demands.

Over the past six months, the organisation has doubled its workforce, recruiting experts from various sectors to enhance customer experience, particularly in after-sales service, production, and training support. The company is also making substantial investments in its technology team to bolster and diversify its production capabilities for the development of advanced agricultural solutions.

Pradeep Palelli, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thanos Technologies mentioned that in the previous fiscal, they had witnessed notable growth and substantial traction in the local market. He noted that they were currently operational in various states across India and expressed their intention to expand into international markets, particularly Southeast Asia and Africa, in the upcoming fiscal year.

As part of its expansion strategy, the company plans to raise its first round of investment to enhance its products with newer technologies, scale up operations, and broaden its customer base nationally and internationally. It is also committed to obtaining certifications for three new agricultural spraying drone models this year, thereby expanding its customer reach. Additionally, the company intends to deploy its in-house developed mapping drones for agricultural intelligence, providing farmers with valuable insights for improved crop management.

With a sales target of 2500 drones for the current fiscal and an anticipated usage of over 10,000 drones by FY 2026–2027, Thanos is dedicated to driving sustainable agriculture innovation and empowerment.
