Bayer has been granted a patent for an herbicidal composition containing glyphosate, amidoalkylamine surfactants, and co-surfactants. The concentrate solution includes a high concentration of glyphosate salt and excludes specific glyphosate salts.

The granted patent (Publication Number: US11925179B2) discloses an aqueous herbicidal concentrate solution that includes a glyphosate component with a concentration greater than 300 grams acid equivalent per liter. The glyphosate component does not contain specific salts of glyphosate, such as the isopropylamine salt or n-propylamine salt. The solution also includes an amidoalkylamine surfactant of a defined structure (I), along with various co-surfactants with specific structures outlined in the claims.

Furthermore, the patent details the composition of the solution, including the types of co-surfactants used, such as alkoxylated tertiary amine, alkoxylated quaternary amine, alkoxylated tertiary etheramine, alkoxylated quaternary etheramine, alkoxylated etheramine oxide, alkoxylated alcohol, and phosphate ester of alkoxylated alcohol surfactant.
