Show Safra 2024: Syngenta presents innovative solutions to address main challenges facing rural producers

During its participation in Show Safra 2024, held from 18th to 22nd March in Lucas do Rio Verde (MT), Syngenta presented its innovations aimed at addressing the challenges facing farmers in the Cerrado, the main region for the production of crops such as soybeans, corn and cotton, accounting for 60% of Brazil's agricultural production.

With the aim of further supporting crop productivity, Syngenta, which continually invests in research and technology, presented its portfolio of solutions aimed at boosting productivity in the field.

″We want to showcase the effectiveness of our innovations at the biggest agricultural fairs in the country and, therefore, contribute more to the advancement of Brazilian agriculture, reinforcing our commitment to always stand side-by-side with farmers seeking better performance and crop productivity,″ said André Savino, President of Syngenta Crop Protection in Brazil.

During the event, Syngenta showcased fungicides such as ALADE^® and MITRION^®, which assist the management of the soybean anomaly of stem breakage and soybean grain rot, problems that cause considerable damage and are the focus of farmers in several regions of Brazil. It also presented the product, MIRAVIS^® PRO, used for controlling complex spots on corn and cotton.

Disruptive technologies, such as VERDAVIS^® insecticides with acaricidal action for corn and soybean crops, and Elestal^® Neo, which is highly effective in controlling all stages of whiteflies, also be presented.

TYMIRIUM^®, an innovative molecule in the registration phase and developed for seed treatment and soil application for more than 20 crops, also be presented to the fair’s visitors, as well as Fortenza^® Vip Turbo, an innovative solution for treating corn seeds.
