The first of these companies was Agricheck SRL, which showcased products under its Suterra and Andermatt brands.

Andermatt is currently one of the world's leading companies in the research and development of biopesticides.

The two brands offer a wide range of baculovirus-based insecticides used for controlling insect pests, such as spodoptera, moths, helicoverpa, and plutella.

The expertise of the Swiss company, launched in the 1980s, include isolating naturally occurring diseased larvae and breeding them to obtain millions of viral particles, which were then sprayed on crops.
