DLF Beet Seed CEO steps down

Hans Christian Ambjerg, CEO of DLF Beet Seed, stepped down from his position on February 28, 2024.

″Hans Christian has played a key role in leading and advancing our operations in the sugar beet seed business unit since 2020. On behalf of the Executive Management Board and the entire organization, I express my gratitude for his substantial and professional contributions, both as the CEO in DLF Beet Seed and as a member of the Executive Management Board in DLF Seeds.″ said Søren Halbye, CEO of DLF.

In early December 2023, DLF declared its intention to establish a new Joint Venture with Groupe Florimond Desprez in the sugar beet seed and chicory business. The Joint Venture is currently awaiting regulatory approval and is anticipated to come into effect on July 1, 2024.

During this transition period, Søren Ustrup, Vice President of Business Development at DLF, will assume the role of interim CEO of DLF Beet Seed. He will work closely with the leadership team and the entire organization to continue driving our business and prepare for the integration process for the upcoming joint venture.
